Ron Harris played for the legendary Chelsea side of the 60’s and 70’s. Ron is best remembered for his tough-tackling and uncompromising style that earned him the nickname ‘Chopper’. Even at a time when it seemed every team had a hard man, Ron stood out as one the hardest of all! On March 29th 2014, we had a very entertaining evening listening to Ron regaling us with stories and anecdotes from his glittering career, along with top comedian Mick Pugh.
