TSC Smack & Classic Yacht Race
The Tollesbury Sailing Club would like to invite you to its 2025 Smack and Classic Yacht Race on Saturday 11th October. (HW 15:38 at the Nass)
The event this year will take the form of a Pursuit race for the smacks, (start times to be at the discretion of the TSC committee) and a handicap race for the Classic yachts.
After the racing there will be the usual free ale/ beer available (our Bar will be open for non-Ale drinkers though unfortunately not free) at the Tollesbury Sailing Club. Prize giving will also take place at the club after the race, at around 15:00 hrs.
Food will be available to purchase at the club.
A water taxi (Yellow Peril) or TSC rib will operate from the creek to the marina, (vhf channel 6) Berths may be available in Tollesbury Marina if required, to book contact the harbour master at:

Our database of addresses for entrants to this event is far from complete so if you know of anyone else with a suitable vessel who would like to come along, please do not hesitate to let them (or us) know.
Entry forms can be downloaded from our website: www.tollesburysc.com (go to calendar and click on TSC S&C race) and further instructions, courses, start times etc will be sent via email to registered entrants in due course. Please return entry forms to commodore@tollesburysc.com or to the TSC Clubhouse.
We understand that at this time of the year skippers may wait with an eye on the weather before entering our races. If you are intending to race, please let me know as this will greatly assist with our preparations.
All race entry forms shall be submitted no later than Friday 10th. Late entries shall be entirely at the discretion of the Race Committee.
